Midlands Power Networks, completed the installation of a Premier league football stadium power supply to guarantee the power stays on at the Britannia Stadium during match days.
From design, to build, then on to installation, testing and commissioning MPN provided a bespoke service to ensure that the lights don’t go out during a match. It seems unimaginable that even if the power supply to site is lost not a flicker is noticed at the stadium.
The generators run in sync with the mains so if any one fails the other takes over with out a flicker.
This was a large investment for the stadium and had to be started and completed during the closed season, this was a difficult task due to the extent of the works from Civil works to electrical installation, including a new main supply panel that was replaced and energized over a single weekend.
“Midland Power Networks (MPN) were appointed to install our stand by generator capability as required by the introduction of new rules by the Premier League to meet television broadcasters needs regarding continuity of football fixtures. MPN were professional throughout the project and delivered an installation of excellent quality which has caused no issues since being operational. I was impressed with their skill and expertise in making recommendations to fine tune the scope of work to achieve the best outcome for the project.” – Stoke City FC
