Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our services.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Midlands Power Networks Ltd ("we," "our," or "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 5170381). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

We provide electrical engineering services including but not limited to:

  • • High voltage network design, installation, and maintenance
  • • Low voltage electrical systems
  • • Emergency response services
  • • Electrical consultation and project management
  • • Compliance testing and certification

3. Professional Standards

All work is carried out in accordance with relevant British Standards, IET Wiring Regulations, and Health and Safety requirements. We maintain appropriate insurance coverage and professional certifications including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditation.

4. Health and Safety

We are committed to maintaining the highest health and safety standards in all our operations. All personnel are appropriately trained and certified. Clients must provide safe working conditions and comply with all reasonable health and safety requirements.

5. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Additional work outside the original scope will be quoted separately and require written approval before proceeding.

6. Payment Terms

Payment terms are typically 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed. Late payment charges may apply in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. We reserve the right to suspend work in case of non-payment.

7. Warranties and Guarantees

We provide warranties on workmanship and materials as specified in individual contracts. Equipment warranties are as provided by manufacturers. We will remedy defective work at no additional cost during the warranty period.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the specific contract. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses. This does not affect statutory rights or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Emergency Services

Our 24/7 emergency response service is provided on a best-efforts basis. Response times may vary depending on location and circumstances. Emergency callout charges apply as published in our current rate schedule.

10. Intellectual Property

All designs, documentation, and intellectual property created in the course of our work remain our property unless specifically transferred by written agreement. Clients receive a license to use designs for the intended purpose.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate services with reasonable notice. Clients remain liable for work completed and materials supplied up to the termination date. Termination does not affect warranty obligations.

12. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. Client data is kept confidential and used only for the purposes of providing our services.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
